In a sea of grass
She leaned against her lover's back
Alone, dark and mute,
Without sight
Neither hearing nor seeing,
Only touch,
She felt his body next to hers
Their hearts beat
Slow muted strains
Burgandy in color
Of ancient wine
Her hands across his ears,
His cheeks,
His eyes,
His tears,
Her love.... pouring down his face

heaven sent
From heaven sent
For many years
She sailed upon
A sea of tears
Cold setting sun
The distant peaks
Tears frozen on
Her frigid cheeks
Through howling wind
She heard their call
The heavens moaned
She left it all
To them she went
Without a fear
And wrapped them in
A cloak of fur
Amoungst the stars
They gently glide
They were as one
She loved them so
Burrowed deep
Against the cold
They soundly sleep
As planets slow
Her empty soul
Glides in the wind
The distant stars
Keep winking in
And deep within
The icy mist
Their silent tears
Her love once kissed
For many years
She sailed upon
A sea of tears
Cold setting sun
The distant peaks
Tears frozen on
Her frigid cheeks
Through howling wind
She heard their call
The heavens moaned
She left it all
To them she went
Without a fear
And wrapped them in
A cloak of fur
Amoungst the stars
They gently glide
They were as one
She loved them so
Burrowed deep
Against the cold
They soundly sleep
As planets slow
Her empty soul
Glides in the wind
The distant stars
Keep winking in
And deep within
The icy mist
Their silent tears
Her love once kissed

Anesthesia
She fed him strange fruit
From forbidden trees
A bite at a time
Trailing her fingers
Across his lips
She showed him seven cities
And gave him sevrin scepters
And taught him to fly
Gently, she knelt him down
Her delicate touch
Lashed across his body
And tore the flesh
From his face
Tears from her eyes
Fell into his wounds
Searing his pain into ecstacy
Knowingly he went
Clutching at her body
Death was his
He held her close
All that remained
Was the joy of her touch.
